What was your favourite journey? Hmmm... that's a tough one. Bali,Thailand, France, and Italy were all great, but I guess it would have to be South Africa because I was there with Kevin and it was mylast big trip - so the most memorable!
What are your interests? Still love playing sports like tennis, golf and snowboarding, I even took up field hockey again just four years ago with Lisa Read! I don't have a lot of time to cook, but I would love to spend more time in the kitchen.
What is your fondest memory of Hillside? Definitely hanging in the hallways eating lunch with my friends, going on tours thru Ambleside in our VW bugs, and who can forget our walkout that landed us up Cypress Mountaintubing!
What is your favourite music, past/present? In the past I loved older music like The Doors and now it's a wide range from hip-hop songs like "golddigger" to more mellow songs like Daniel Powter's "You Had a Bad Day" - I think I love all music (exept for crap like Britney Spears).
What do you consider your greatest achievement? I would have to say starting my own business. I've wanted to do it ever since I graduated with my Commerce degree from UBC, and now 12 years later I finally did it! The store has only been open for one year, but we've exceeded our expectations - so definietely my greatest achievement (to date!)
What is your greatest regret? I would have to say not pursuing my dream of becoming a professional tennis player. I think I could have been a contender... of course now it's hard to keep my serve in!
What are you waiting to do? Start a family. We are just waiting for the timing to be right with the business! I would also still like to do more traveling with Kevin.
Your last 20 years in 20 words or less: UBC Commerce degree, 3 years in Yacht Sales, 7 years in Commercial Real Estate, 1 year finding myself, 2 years as an Account Supervisor at Cossette Communications (advertising firm), and then finally Frocks was born. I've been living on the west side of Vancouver (near 11th & Granville) for the past 8 years!
1987 Yearbook Quote: "Cat" was often found driving with SM or doing "the swim". She is well known for her competitiveness in tennis and for her bug screams. "Fozzie" was very involved in Homecoming, grasshockey and looking for rides home. She was most famous for her Pee Wee Herman impersonations and her lopsided crisis mug, and saying "What colour's that bug?". Her message to undergrads is "you can leave your hat on".
